Good morning!
Today is Thanksgiving Day!
Don't you use to celebrate it in your RL country? It doesn't matter, me neither. But we are on SL, and here we can celebrate whatever we want.
Thanksgiving is a time to stay with family members and friends, and to express gratitude in general.
You, Beau Belle Village people, are my family and friends on SL.
So, I'm here with you, expressing to the Universe (or God, or Supreme Force, or The Invisible, or Creator, or Thor, or Philip Linden, or...) all…

You all might wonder what I get up to here-
Today I got up around 0630, had some, well several espressi and a few cups of tea.
Sea was feeling under the weather so I went off alone for a few hours. Caught the #1 Vaporetto @ Arsenale to Rialto Mercato. There I spent a little time with fishmongers and friends; knife show and tell with a chef friend of mine who also made me a most spectacular monk fish soup.
Then back on the #1 to Arsenale. This boat was notable because it was leaky with many cm…

Hello all!!!
I've just scripted and installed a number of discreet snuggle balls around the new
Belle's coffee shop. You won't see them unless you're looking for them, so they don't clutter up the place with bright pink and blue balls like you see in the rest of Second Life. When you get within 3 metres, they appear in subtle transparent shades of grey and brown. They're dotted around, so see if you can find them, and try them out with your lovers and snuggle-pals!!!…

Beau Belle friends, residents and art lovers gathered last week for the launch of Susan Zunimoor’s art exhibition at the ruins above the Cohen Club.
A Canadian, Susan has been painting and showing her work for more than 20 years. Her art is primarily autobiographical paintings. ”The theme of this show is the concept of native country and cultural mix, as well as the multiple relationships that we maintain with the world around us in time and space.” Susan uses a variety of media to create her ow…

I only know half the facts of this story. I don't know why Lore and Harry were trying to escape from the Cohen Club, and I don't know where they were heading for their week away - all they would say about their destination was "it's a hotel". But they were equpped with lots of huge bulging suitcases (full of Cohen CDs?) and they had loaded everything, including themselves, into a cute little taxi. Lore was driving and Harry was squashed into the back looking very uncomfortable.
The engine was r…

If Harry enjoyed his rezz day party as much as the rest of us did, he should be still smiling to himself this morning. But maybe parties are really for the people who come as much as for the overstretched hosts? And come people certainly did, 42 at one point, crowding out the dance floor and lagging the sim as they overwhelmed the birthday boy. Lore had done a wonderful job on the arrangements and the music was superb, with Jordio giving us his soulful piano and Calvin streaming his own mix. My…

Not that i'm one to gossip, but....I did hear that last night Bluebell was seen at the LC with a high class rent boy. Really cute he was too, so you can't fault her taste in boys. Sea was of course jealous and wanted one too, but Jon said no, no, no. Wonder if anyone has any incriminating photos ?

Hello lovelies!!! I thought it was time for another building blog, as it's been ages since my
last one about the dinky cottages.
So as many of you will have discovered by now, we have a new coffee bar / coffee shop / coffee house (make up your own mind!). It also features a stage for events, a newly re-vamped Collage restaurant, and .... shhh, don't tell anyone.....an illicit underground gambling d…

You might have noticed we have a pack of wolves on the sim. They are actually quite friendly, and actually have names, Harry, Inae, Bluebell and Stephs. They roam free around the sim.

If you are a member of the Beau Belle family and would like to be able to call or pet the wolves just ask Teesa, she will…

I've not been away this past week instead have been attending many events at burning life.
For those of you who are Leonard Cohen fans you might want to stop by the Writer's camp this Friday at 13:30 SLT where the very talented Stosh Quarz and I will be reading poems by Leonard Cohen for an hour or so.

after having spent much of the night on the phone with the apartment rental agency in Venice I'm extremely pleased that we will be there 18 Nov-2 December.
Feeling really fortunate; we already spent the latter 1/2 of February there earlier this year

Dance me to the end of love. This time not too much to say, because we didn't do much we just danced and danced and danced. And lovely it was too. And Stephs had his own stream going so we had all our favourite tunes playing. Ah bliss. I will let the photos do the talking.

Well the briefest of notes from this cold paradise. The second day of our break involved me having a giant migraine, and barely being able to move. Did it spoil our time, well not for me, an excuse to sit together, not move, and have gentle conversation, a luxury we rarely have the time for. And after some considerable time, I noticed, my headache was much improved. The soothing honey of honeymoon.

Greetings to all of you. I am on holiday, or more acurately we are on honeymoon. The wonderful Bluebell Broome gave Stephs and I a beautiful honeymoon for our wedding present, so very thoughtful of her, although that also means that she is left to deal will all sim issues as we both disappear for a week. A WEEK!!! A blissful week of each others company, and no distractions, no prim counter, rental boxes, group notices or anything vaguely resembling work. And so far (one day) I am loving it.
I s…
