I have been making things!

Firstly Halloween goodies for you all, and what is more they are free, so grab some pumpkins and get in the spooky spirit.

Then some new shoe styles. I particularly like the strappy brown shoes, there is a pair in pink too which I am already wearing, and new styles in the offiing.

These silver buckle shoes are proving very popular too. Pop by regularly the range is changing… Continue

Dances With Wolves

You might have noticed we have a pack of wolves on the sim. They are actually quite friendly, and actually have names, Harry, Inae, Bluebell and Stephs. They roam free around the sim.

If you are a member of the Beau Belle family and would like to be able to call or pet the wolves just ask Teesa, she will sort that out for you.

Aw look at Bluebell having a howl at the… Continue

Hello all

I've not been away this past week instead have been attending many events at burning life.

For those of you who are Leonard Cohen fans you might want to stop by the Writer's camp this Friday at 13:30 SLT where the very talented Stosh Quarz and I will be reading poems by Leonard Cohen for an hour or so. … Continue

Time flies so fast...

...and even faster when one is having fun..and fun we had...a beautiful place and lots of memories to take home to Beau Belle and cherish forever.

Before we left however, we took out Ruby Midnight Socks for a ride and bade our farewell to our seclusive honeymoon place:

And the minute I logged on Monday I realized something strange must have happened to Beau Belle. Apparently our dear Bluebell was barely able to keep the residents… Continue

Off to venice we go!

after having spent much of the night on the phone with the apartment rental agency in Venice I'm extremely pleased that we will be there 18 Nov-2 December.

Feeling really fortunate; we already spent the latter 1/2 of February there earlier this year

Postcards from the sim edge (part three)

Dance me to the end of love. This time not too much to say, because we didn't do much we just danced and danced and danced. And lovely it was too. And Stephs had his own stream going so we had all our favourite tunes playing. Ah bliss. I will let the photos do the talking.…

Postcards from the sim edge (part two)

Well the briefest of notes from this cold paradise. The second day of our break involved me having a giant migraine, and barely being able to move. Did it spoil our time, well not for me, an excuse to sit together, not move, and have gentle conversation, a luxury we rarely have the time for. And after some considerable time, I noticed, my headache was much improved. The soothing honey of honeymoon.

Having a wonderful time… Continue

Postcards from the sim edge (part one)

Greetings to all of you. I am on holiday, or more acurately we are on honeymoon. The wonderful Bluebell Broome gave Stephs and I a beautiful honeymoon for our wedding present, so very thoughtful of her, although that also means that she is left to deal will all sim issues as we both disappear for a week. A WEEK!!! A blissful week of each others company, and no distractions, no prim counter, rental boxes, group notices or anything vaguely resembling work. And so far (one day) I am loving… Continue

Autumn and some good news

As many of you know I devote a fair amount of time to non work related writing, poetry in particular.

The spoken word will certainly feature prominently @ my place once I get off my ass and launch it.

I've also been attending, and participating in, many readings in SL and am impressed, my scripplings aside, with how very good most of these writers are. Yet another example of how rich and varied the SL tapestry really is.

On that note I was pleased to hear Sunday that one of… Continue

Just a Game?!? (I do not think so)

Some people say Second Life is just a game. I think it's more than this, SL is a Virtual World, where people - or their alter-egos, or their souls, or their inner selves - live a different life, by conscious choice. SL is a Game of Life.

And being a world, there are those people who play games in-world, those who work, travel, fight, teach, learn, talk, do absolutely nothing, marry... and die. That's why I'm writing this blog post.

Last week, September 26, I went to a… Continue
