Pssst... yesterday a well-placed BB source suggested that the island might need a prison! Of course, I was horrifed. Well, imagine it - your precious avatar could be thrown into jail, to languish there unloved and muted while everyone else was bopping to the Avatars and having a wild SL time. So I for one am ready to unite with my SL brothers, sisters and theatre bots to march in protest against any such plan... UNLESS of course the prison were to be lined with lovely soft deep velvet (deep… Continue

Thrilled to discover that we now have a full time usherette in the Beau Belle Cinema, the lovely Kia, I rushed to interview her. She was looking good in a nifty little white outfit, simple but chic, very Yves St Laurent in his nurse-fallen-on-hard-times period (although she was missing the stethoscope and enema kit). I tried to coax fashion secrets out of the sexy little usherette but maybe I was too pushy, she just seemed… Continue

Well time for ol' Stephs to write a Blog post. I wonder if I will ever find the time to follow up on all my Web 2.0 thingies and gadgets and protocols and content and what not..but maybe that's the price we pay for belonging to the so called "Digital Bohéme".
That being said, I am glad to be here in this community (yay, I even have an updated profile pic!), and as it seems it is easy to aggregate some of my other content here without saying and writing everything more than… Continue

We have a new usherette in Beau Belle, she is an automated robot, and makes me laugh so much sometimes. Here are some of her recent pearls.
[16:27] Inae Indigo: i see dead people
[16:27] Beau Belle Usherette: Maybe you should call the authorities.
[16:28] Beau Belle Usherette: Are you free in the sense of being single or in the sense of being liberated?
[16:28] Inae Indigo: i am free of the bonds of this… Continue

One of the most urgent things for us to do in Beau Belle village right now is to set up our new retail area. The land is costing us considerable money, and we need to get shop renters in as soon as possible! To this end, I’ve been working on a new shop design.
The shops we have in the original part of the village were assembled speedily when we first moved in, and I was never completely happy with the design. They were functional but rather bare and characterless, and I never felt… Continue

Hello, and welcome to my nifty new blog. I’ve been wondering about doing something like this for a while, but wanted to wait until I had a proper subject to write about, and that day has finally come. Let me first introduce myself.
I’m Bluebell Broome, and live in Second Life. Around the start of the year, a new village called Beau Belle was born in Second Life, formed by a cooperative consisting of me and some friends (Teesa, Cranmillion and Share). The village was founded on a… Continue

Well it is that time of the year, when the lonely feel lonely and the loved feel loved, I hope you are one of the latter. Well in the spirit of that we threw a Valentines Ball for the single people of SL (although couples weren't forbidden :)). And as you can see from the number of smooching couples in the following photos, it was a great success. Everyone seemed to be dancing with someone, and even Curly put on some clothes! He looked so cute, and had no trouble getting dancing partners. JJ… Continue

Oh my goodness, it has been a ride and a half. Life on Beau Belle is moving so fast so many fun nights, and so many changes that I hardly know what to write. So I thought a pictorial of the last month or so might be the way to go. (more to follow)

So it has been months since I blogged. And why? Well my mummy always said if you had nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. So I decided not to speak for a while. Now if you read my first ever blog, I believe not a word of it is still true. I no longer live on Hallelujah, I am no longer with my partner Harley, I no longer run sLove Is... But sometimes losing things clears space for better things in life. Things were changing around me, things… Continue

So now I am wondering (see, it is dangerous when you get me thinking), do people use SL as a kind of interactive diary. I am not suggesting that is anyone's reason for installing the game but consider the interplay you have with each other. I am constantly touched and surprised at how my friends and even new aquaintences open their hearts and souls to me, and I am sure, to you too.
We talk about RL, our fears and hopes, we discuss our day and advise and support each other. I have… Continue

So there was me looking at how we touch each others lives, and how we perceive the truth of matters and what did I find? A brand new blogger asking himself similar questions! Not an SL blog an RL one but I still found it something I wanted to include here, and I can't wait to see what he has to say next. http://bloggingohno.blogspot.com/

So lately I have been having thoughts on the way people touch each others lives in this strange world. The way we become so close to each other and are yet so removed from each other emotionally. Running a dating agency, I have found so many broken hearts and broken promises along my journey here, and am constantly struck by peoples need to return to this game, despite the hurt they feel. The optimism they have that the next person will treat them differently and that the last episode was… Continue

Well i have received a complaint, albeit from someone too incompetent to post a comment on a blog who had to send me a notecard inworld, however, I am an honorable blogger and will of course publish all correspondence.
As a long time subscriber to your excellent periodical "Teesa's Teases" I am not generally one to complain, and indeed I am usually impressed by the impeccably high editorial content. However on this occasion I feel there are a number of oversights… Continue

Three people were critically injured Friday when two women in a speedboat swerved out of the river and crashed through the window of a nearby shop. Miraculously, no one was hurt as the shop owner was offline at the time but thousand of Linden dollars worth of damage was caused to virtual goods and intellectual properties in the store. Bluebell Broome (25) of Hallelujah Azul and Inae Indigo (old enough to know better) of no fixed abode were taken to a nearby medical facility around noon after… Continue

It has been raining a lot in HB, rainclouds popping up all over the place. So it had to be done, I had to strip off all my clothes and dance in the rain. And I was not alone, three of my friends (who shall remain nameless) joined me in these nakey frolics, and damned fun it was too. Just the girls, dancing in the rain. I would like to recommend it to anyone, and if you need a rainmaker, just im me in world I would be happy to oblige, and if you have a photo of yourself dancing in the rain,… Continue

So we had a ball, we really did! The event went with a swing, and a waltz and a tango. Everyone looked so wonderful, and we all danced our little pixelated arses off. I am too tired and post ball-ish to write much, so I shall let the pictures do the talking

So I finally capitulated and have started my own blog. Largely down to the inspiration of Owly Indigo and her amazing musings. I have no remit as such, just a collection of randomness, a place to rant at the world, ISL and IRL, and witter on. I will drive you all potty with my ramblings about Hallelujah Blue and Azul, and my SL business, sLove Is...
But first me, I am Teesa, from the UK IRL and live in Hallelujah Blue ISL. I have a sweet little island (photos to follow) which I share… Continue
