Beau Belle Village Second Life Group
I just wanted to say a fond farewell to all my friends at Beau Belle. It was not without a little sadness that I emptied my house and my shops and said goodbye to Beau Belle today. I have decided after a great deal of soul searching to leave Second Life. I will miss my friends very much, but I think after five years it is time to move on.
There are many things on which I will look back on with great happiness, and my friendships are definately the greatest of those. I will miss my conversations with Inae, her unfailing belief in me which has meant so much. Much dear friend Bon who has been a quiet support through some of my darkest days, and who underestimates his worth on a daily basis. My new friends Kelly and May, who have gladdened my heart by taking on the mantle of running Beau Belle, the next chapter. Firecracker Ruby, who kicks arse the way a girl should. Orb who is my inspiration, who without whom there would have been no Beau Belle, as the idea would never have happened, and many other friends along the way.
And Bluebell, the other half of me, every day together building this sim was a day of joy. We worked so well together as a team, and I think we always both believed we were better together than the sum of our parts. There was no better way to say goodbye than a final tour of the sim with her in her hot air balloon, talking over old memories, and happy times. So many amazing moments. Blue asked me what my fondest memory was, and I couldn’t think of one as there were hundreds, but I suspect that might be it.
So it is done, bags packed, goodbyes said, programmes uninstalled. I shall watch this site once in a while to see how you all are doing. But Teesa takes her leave of you, with love in her heart.
